Simple Things Bring Joy

People have these great ambitions... money, career, possessions, achievements and goals, but it's the small, simple things that make your life. If you miss those in the process of following your ambitions, you've missed the most joyous and worthwhile things of all. I've seen people do this and look back with regret and the inability to forgive themselves for their pride and folly. What they have lost far exceeds what they have gained. Those things never bring true happiness and fulfillment. I never want to be one of those people... and I never want those I love to be either.
